Three down.

One more left. Soon enough we'll be putting on our boots and going back for the final semester. OH MAN.

I'll try to post more pics & movie files soon, like my digital short: once I find a way to shrink it down without wrecking it and stuff. p.s. the bunnies are from layout class.

weekly illustration

I decided to draw Doc Oc rather than Dr. H.

childhood memory

Paper dolls of the clothes I remember wearing as a kid! It's not really a memory, or an illustration, but I had fun doing it. And I do recall feeling particularly snappy in some of those clothes.

weekly illustration

This is based on Across the Universe: "Nothing's gonna change my world".

I should note that this was all Michael's idea. (I had such a time trying to come up with something for this assignment.) So here it is, Michael, I hope you like it.

Was there an illustration topic this week? I don't think so. This was done for Karen G. TRY TO GUESS WHAT I DREW.

weeeeds!

Hard to concentrate this weekend. Why can I only do homework for bitesize chunks of time? In the meantime, I am flash doodling.

the donkeys of servitude

I went through a few different things for the little baby donkey to be saying, like "GOSH I AM SO GUNG HO TO HAVE A HORRIBLE LIFE OF PULLING CARTS!" but I don't know, I couldn't make up my mind. So here is just the image, for now. When I decide on something then I don't know, maybe I will add a caption or speech bubble.

Animal time.

A week or two ago, I went to the Aquarium to try drawing the creatures there. It was way, way too busy. But that's going on a Saturday morning for you. Anyway I hope to do this regularly. Maybe. If I'm not stampeded by schoolwork.

Pride.

I chose the style of blatantly (and shabbily) ripping of Arthur De Pins. (Who I LOVE.)

This is one of those ultra-proud mums, the kind who would come into the grocery store with their swaddled up newborns. I don't know about you, ladies, but I'd wait a bit before bringing such a kid into the germiest place in town.

sketchbook pages

It's time for a new sketchbook - so, because I've run out of room I'm going to post some stuff from old sketchbooks. Because it's something to do. And I haven't posted in weeks and weeks.

Sorry if some of it is rehashing. Some of this stuff I cut out and put into my portfolios.

But anyway, here is some stuff.

Play this game!

Check this out. Running for your life in terror has never been so fun.

DINO RUN

This is my quad final from a few months ago - I picked Family Dog.

Michael did this, claiming "this is going to be the newest internet phenomenon." I hope he is right.

This is me taking a break from the portfolio freakouts.

another music illustration

I forgot to post this one with the other ones. It's all about who would in a technology fight. (And how easy it is to break an mp3 player versus when you used to be able to drop your old clunkster walkman down the basement stairs and it would be fine.)

I had a red one I really loved. The first tape I ever got was the soundtrack to Jurassic Park.

Parade Day

I took so, so many photos and videos, and these were the only ones that really turned out. But good times! Good times.

Cap College

Not too much yet to show for the new semester, so I'll post some photos of cap campus. (This is before the big dump of snowfall today. And by big dump, I mean by Vancouver standards. We only got 6-8 inches, tops, but that is enough to screw up the roads and get class cancelled.)

Happy New Year.

Circa 'Mac and Me', I guess. Was there really a demand for fast food that you put together yourself? What does the D stand for?
