The sockeye salmon run in the Fraser river has been extremely sad for years, but it's looking like they have made a major recovery! There are tens of MILLIONS of these fellows. Bears everywhere are pleased.

I've been trying to do warm-up drawings every morning, usually trying to pause 'n copy from something on the TV, to try different styles. Also, it's another good excuse for watching some Simpsons.

Here are some of those practice drawings.

After a whole morning of my neighbour listening to loud Lady Gaga, he switched to loud new-age synth chanting. THE SAME TRACK. Or maybe it was a two/three hour long track, I really don't know my new age chant albums.

I have illustrated exactly how the music sounded.

Chris Sanders challenge.

Drawn for the DAC's style challenge, which was to draw like Chris Sanders. So I chose to try drawing Faye from cowboy bebop! Ein I think is more in style, but he also looks like a creep, hehe.

Monster Highlights!

A treasure troll is too a monster. Also, second up from the bottom that is a Yeti from Doctor Who. (Although I'm much happier with the way the doctor turned out than with the yeti) At the top of this bunch is a Monoped, a medieval beast which was basically a "man with one leg".
